Etroa – Industry and Community Relations

 

Etroa is active in supporting industry associations and charitable organizations.  We believe in technology transfer through participation and mentoring younger technical professionals and in contributing to and working for charities that enable people who can help themselves and support those who cannot.  Etroa and its management support the following worthy groups:

                        Covenant House provides food, shelter, immediate crisis care, and an array of other important services to homeless, throwaway, and runaway kids.

St. Gerard Magella Alternative School www.sgmschool.org

This school educates unwed high school mothers so they can be mainstreamed back into regular school after their baby’s birth.  It has a high success rate in preventing despair and dropouts.

                        Catholic Charities manages 48 programs in New Orleans including several dedicated to hurricane relief.

This school provides an excellent, tuition-free education in a safe and nurturing environment to at-risk children in New Orleans who are admitted from families living in poverty.

Liberty's Kitchen is an innovative, non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youth by building self-sufficiency and independent living in a supportive community where they learn life, social and employability skills in a culinary setting.
